UnSilenced Project: Amplifying your voice

The Unsilenced Project collects audio stories from women and men who have felt the impact of the trans movement. You may have lost friends, family, community or career as punishment for your thoughtcrimes. It could have caused you to re-examine your political position, to look at things with a more critical eye, to challenge accepted ideas, find new and inspiring friends, to get involved in raising awareness and ultimately changed your life.

Your story matters, and we’re here to help you tell it.

Truth Matters

Why It’s Important

More people are refusing to go along with the enforced narrative and having their views suppressed. Things are changing as more people speak out.We aim to raise awareness by documenting real experiences, preserving them for history, and inspiring change through truth.

Speak out

Our Plan

Smearing someone as 'far right' / 'nazi' / 'bigot' / 'transphobe' as a tactic to shut them up won't work anymore. We’re collecting audio stories to share on our website, YouTube (audio only), podcast platforms, in exhibitions or artist books to create an archive of stories from ordinary people who have experienced this extraordinary time.

Who's behind this project?

Suzanne Malyon

Sometimes I feel the world has gone mad as I see how women, children, families, lesbians and gays...our whole society in fact...has been affected by gender identity ideology. It crept into our government, institutions, organisations and establishments, wreaking havoc on so many lives. It has also been an opportunity to re-examine a lot of what has been taken for granted, connecting with new people and exciting ideas as we find a way forward. This strange time we are living through needs to be recorded through peoples real life stories.
